How to enroll
- 01
Step 1: Get in touch
Write to us with the form on the contact page, or call the office. The head of school or the office manager answers, usually within a day or two.
- 02
Step 2: Visit the school
Come for a visit day. Your child sits in on a morning lesson, and you talk with the head of school about what your family is looking for. A visit is a conversation, not a test.
- 03
Step 3: Apply
Apply after a visit. The application asks about your family, your child's school so far and what you hope for. Applications open in October for the fall a year away.
- 04
Step 4: Hear from us
Every family hears in mid-March, by letter and by phone. If every place is taken, a family can join the waitlist.
- 05
Step 5: Register
To hold a place, sign an enrollment agreement by early April. Families who need help with tuition ask for the aid form after applying.
- 06
Step 6: The first day
The first day is in late August. Families come to a short meeting, then children start their first morning in Mandarin.

What an open house is like
An open house is a morning with the school at work. You hear Mandarin in the halls, sit in on a lesson, look at the classrooms and ask the teachers anything. Families who cannot come in the fall can book a visit day instead.
